Most every morning starts the same way — dough rolled out, potatoes whipped, cobblers put together, green tomatoes sliced and dipped by hand. The stoves stay busy right through the day so what lands on your plate was made today, not yesterday.

John and Abby Hannah have been part of Carrollton's restaurant scene since founding Shuckers Oyster Bar in 1998. That legacy carries on with the Acquaotta family, while John and Abby started a new chapter — Brown Chicken Brown Cow opened its doors in December 2025.
